The fund makes loans to
chiropractic students to assist them to complete their
course.Applicants
must be able to show financial need.
Preference is given to
students in the final two years of a chiropractic programme.
The loans are interest
free until the completion of the course after which a
commercial rate of interest is charged.
Loans must be repaid
within two years of completion of the course.
Debtors must practice in
NSW until such time as the loan is repaid.
Applicants must be student
members of the
Australian Chiropractors Association
and retain membership on completion
of their course until the loan is repaid.
The maximum loan is
$5000.00. There have been instances where a student has been
granted two loans, one for each of the final two years of
the course
