The James Maxwell Scholarship

Due to the effect of low interest rates on the fund's income the James Maxwell Scholarship is not currently offered (January 2022)

Late applications will not be considered 

One scholarship will be awarded each year

Value and Tenure

 $5000 per annum tenable for two years subject to satisfactory progress  

Outline

 The scholarship is established to support students from NSW undertaking the Masters programme in chiropractic at Macquarie University, Central Queensland University or similar pre-professional course in the final two years.

 Selection Criteria

Applicants must be Australian Citizens. 

Applicants must have completed the undergraduate programme in chiropractic at Macquarie University and be enrolled in the Masters programme.

 Or

Applicants must be enrolled in the second last year of a chiropractic programme whose successful completion would be a qualification acceptable for registration in NSW 

Each applicant will be assessed on the basis of:

 An interview will be conducted as part of the assessment process. Applicants unable to attend an interview will not be considered.

The trustees reserve the right not to award the scholarship if applicants do not successfully meet the selection criteria

An application form will be available which must be completed and lodged together with any supporting documentation by the closing date.

Please ensure that you have read and understood the application form and have included ALL requested information and documentation.

Applications which are late, incomplete or unsigned will not be accepted.
